or click to browse from your computer
Zipero displays your PDF at full size and overlays a draggable, resizable frame. Adjust its edges to outline exactly the area you want to keep, then apply that crop to every page of the document in one click.
Handy for trimming oversized margins, hiding a header or footer banner, or recentering the useful content of a scanned PDF.
Your PDF is processed right in your browser. It is never sent over the internet or stored on our servers.
The frame you adjust on screen is converted into PDF coordinates (with the vertical axis flipped, since a PDF's origin is at the bottom-left).
pdf-lib then applies those coordinates to the CropBox of every page in the document, which tells PDF readers to display and print only that area.
The new PDF is generated entirely locally and then offered for download, without ever passing through a server.
Is the content outside the frame removed from the file?
No. Zipero changes each page's CropBox, which only defines the area shown and printed by default. Content located outside the frame remains physically present in the PDF file and can be revealed by a tool that ignores or resets the CropBox. If you need to permanently remove sensitive information, use a dedicated redaction tool rather than cropping.
Can I apply a different frame to each page?
Not in the current version — the tool applies the same frame, at identical fractions, to every page of the document. Browse through the pages to check the frame suits all of them before clicking Crop & download.
Does cropping reduce the file size?
Not necessarily. Since the original page data isn't deleted, only the visible area changes, so the file size can stay close to the original.
